I have been in practice for over 16 years. During this time, I have had the wonderful opportunity to work with clients of all shapes and sizes. I believe that God has gifted me with the ability to connect with people from a variety of backgrounds. 

 

I began my private practice in 2005. I work with children, adolescents, and adults and conduct pre-marital as well as marital counseling. I offer evidence-based counseling from a Christian perspective. In addition, I am a Registered Play Therapist with the Association for Play Therapy. In this, I work with children of all ages. Please call and I will be glad to discuss what Play Therapy is and how it is done.

 

I was the Director of Counseling Services on the university level for several years in addition to teaching undergraduate and graduate courses.

 

My experience also involves several hundred hours of group therapy with children, adolescents, and adults within in-patient psychiatric facilities. 

 

I began my counseling career working as a school counselor for over 10 years as well as a teacher and a coach.

 

I have been married to my wife / best friend, Teresa for over 20 years. We have two daughters, Cate, 12 and Lauren, 10. They are two of the coolest kids you will ever meet!
